WeChat Pay

About this Document

Before the institution launch the acquiring business to the merchant, it needs to send the merchant information into wechat pay to obtain the sub merchant id assigned by wechat pay.

Wechat pay provides two methods for sub Merchant onboarding:

1.By platform page : The institution use the institutional account to log in to the merchant platform of wechat pay and enter the information of the sub merchant under the institution menu. The sub merchant onboarding shall submit the merchant name, country, industry category and other information as required. After the sub merchant id will be generated. The institution can use the sub merchant id to initiate wechat pay transactions for the sub merchant.

2.By API : The institution can realize batch onboarding of sub merchants through API. Please refer to the development documents for specific interface parameters and requirements.
