1. Product Overview
Auto Debit Payment (also known as password-free deduction and automatic deduction) means that, on the premise that the merchant and WeChat Pay have obtained the authorization and consent from the user, the merchant can directly initiate a deduction request to the user's WeChat Pay account, and the user can complete the consumption without entering the payment password.
With auto debit payment, users can complete consumption outside the transaction scenario. It applies to merchants in the following scenarios:

Registered as a WeChat Pay merchant and falling into the designated industry scope
The password-free payment product capability is not yet fully opened. At present, it is open to some industries only. It needs to be enabled by submitting the corresponding documents according to the qualification requirements of different industries. The fields to which the product capability has been opened to is listed as follows (for application process and documents, refer to Preparation before Access):
Internet sharing/leasing of portable charger
Public utilities (water, electricity, gas, heating, etc.)
Intelligent freezer
Phone bill
Transportation
Online content industry

4. Special Notes
To protect the rights and interests of users, the password-free payment product capability sets a reasonable deduction limit and limit on the number of deductions for each accessed service. The specific limit will be set by the WeChat Pay business management team according to the actual limit requirement of the merchant scenario when permission is applied for.
