1. Product Overview

For goods sent by cross-border online-retailers to China, correctness of the order information, waybill information, and payment slip information needs to be verified at the E-port to combine the three documents into one before the goods are allowed to be released for shipment and delivered to consumers.

Here, self-service customs clearance service refers to the capability of WeChat Pay to assist cross-border online-retailers in sending the payment slip information to a specific customs E-port after completing acquisition for the cross-border online-retailers.

2. Product Process

step 1 The merchant logs in to the merchant platform overseas, logs in to the overseas merchant platform, selects Transaction > Self-service Clearance, signs the agreement, and enables the WeChat Pay self-service clearance function.

step 2 After the function is enabled, log in to the overseas merchant platform, and select Transaction > Self-service Clearance > Customs Information to add customs information.

step 3 Complete development according to the requirements in WeChat Customs Declaration Interface.

step 4 Complete customs declaration through the interface provided in WeChat Customs Declaration Interface.

3. Conditions of Use

Merchants using the self-service customs clearance service must be WeChat Pay merchants and enterprise merchants of the cross-border online-retailer category at the same time.

4. Special Notes

No additional information needs to be provided for enabling the self-service customs clearance function.
