API Key is used to generate a signature for transferred information. For details on use it, refer to the Signature algorithm section in the API documentation.

1. Log in to the WeChat Pay Merchants Platform, select "Account Settings" > "API Security" > "API Secret", The configuration page is as follows. Click "Set API secret".

2. Click "Confirm" in the pop-up box.

3. Enter the new API key, and the login password. The content of API key should be 32 characters including numbers, upper case and low case letters. Click "send" to get the SMS code.

4. Enter the SMS code and click "Confirm". The API key is set successfully.
