Official Account Payment

Merchants can communicate with users on WeChat through Official Accounts. Once a merchant has opened an Official Account and enabled the payment feature, users can pay for goods and services inside the Official Account.
An Official Account is a tool for managing and understanding fans. Merchants can regularly promote their brands and services through their Official Accounts to encourage users to spend money in their physical or online stores.
After a merchant successfully opens its Official Account, users can pay for goods or services in the Official Account

How to set up WeChat Pay

The Official Account Appid is linked to the Merchant ID. Note: The service provider's Appid cannot be linked to a Submerchant ID. Only an Appid belonging to a submerchant can be linked to a Submerchant ID. The Appid and the Merchant ID entity must be the same.

User payment flows

  1. User opens the merchant's Official Account, selects and confirms product(s) information
  2. User is taken to the payment screen and enters payment password to confirm the transaction
  3. Payment is completed and confirmation sent to the merchant and user
