WeChat Pay

Scenario

This payment method is suitable for merchants to integrate WeChat Pay into the mobile apps.

The merchant app calls WeChat Pay via WeChat SDK. After completion of payment in WeChat Pay, the payer is redirected back to the merchant app and will see the payment result.

Currently, WeChat Pay is supported for iOS, Android and WP (Windows Phone).

interaction details are as follows:

Step 1：A user places an order and confirms purchase in a merchant app and then is redirected to payment. After a payment order is generated and signed in the merchant service backend, the data will be transferred to the app. You can see the demo provided by WeChat in Fig. 8.1.

Step 2：When the user taps to initiate payment, he/she is redirected to WeChat. Call WeChat Pay, and then the payment page appears, as shown in Fig. 8.2.

Step 3：After confirming the recipient and amount, the user taps "Pay Now" to go to the password interface, and then pay by balance or card, as shown in Fig. 8.3.

Step 4：After the user enters the password and make the payment, the payment details will appear on the user's WeChat, as shown in Fig. 8.4.

Step 5：The user is redirected to the merchant app to see the order processing result. This can be customized by the merchant app based on the payment result. See Fig. 8.5.
