POS Materials Application
- ● Who can apply for WeChat Pay POSMs (POS Materials)?
All merchants who have been linked with WeChat Pay. Direct merchants can apply for POSMs directly, and the merchants who're linked with WeChat Pay via service providers need to submit the application through their respective service providers.
- ●How do I apply for WeChat Pay POSMs?
(1) Standard materials (basic and Red Packet materials): Log in www.wechatpay.com to enter the POSM Application module, and then apply for materials as instructed.
(2) Non-standard materials (co-branded, high-end materials): Contact your WeChat Pay business representative. If no such person is available, please email to wxpayglobal@tencent.com
(3) Follow the Official Account "WeChat Pay Global" to learn the latest POSM information.
- ●Will I be charged for the application for WeChat Pay POSMs?
Each application for POSMs will be strictly reviewed. Standard materials are provided free of charge. Non-standard materials (including industry-specific, peripheral, or campaign materials) can only be designed and made after your WeChat Pay business representative applies for you internally.
- ● How do I apply for POSMs for the campaigns initiated by WeChat Pay (such as large campaigns during Chinese New Year)?
The application process depends on the specific campaign. We will communicate with the service providers and merchants as early as possible to confirm the application process for the materials for each of such campaigns.
- ● How long does it take to get the requested materials?
(1) If customs clearance is completed successfully without any problem:
In stock: 2-3 days for Hong Kong and Macao; 5-10 days for other regions.
Out of stock: About 1 week for paper materials; about 1 month for PMMA materials.
(2) If any problem occurs during customs clearance, the recipient will be informed as soon as possible to assist with the customs clearance. The time length required for customs clearance varies between different countries/regions.
