Which settlement currencies does WeChat Pay support?

WeChat Pay supports 26 settlement currencies:

USD, HKD, JPY, THB, EUR, GBP, CAD, KRW, AUD, SGD, NZD, RUB, CHF, SEK, DKK, NOK, AED, TRY, MOP, TWD, CZK, MYR, PHP, IDR, MNT, QAR

What are the settlement date and minimum settlement amount supported by WeChat Pay?

WeChat Pay supports "T+1" settlement mode and requires a minimum settlement amount of 800 USD or equivalent amount in other foreign currencies .It means that when transactions accumulate to the minimum settlement amount, Wechat Pay will settle the funds on the next working day to your registered bank account.

Due to the nature of international remittance, the fund receipt time depends on the remitting bank, the intermediary bank, and the beneficiary bank. Historical experience shows that settlement funds can be received within 2 or 3 business days in China normally.When it comes to the holidays of the countries/regions involved in the clearing path, it may be put off accordingly.

Can I modify the settlement currency?

You can select your settlement currency when you register a merchant ID, but after that you can't modify the currency. If you need to change your settlement currency, please apply for a new Merchant ID and select the settlement currency you want.

Can I modify the settlement date?

The settlement date defaults to T+1. You can apply for extending the settlement date by contacting our Customer Service via wxpayglobal@tencent.com.

Can I modify the minimum settlement amount?

The minimum settlement amount is 800 USD or equivalent amount in other foreign currencies. If you want to adjust it to a higher value, contact us via wxpayglobal@tencent.com.

How can I check the statement and settled fund?

You can log in to the overseas merchant open platform to check the settlement data and the consistency between the transaction amount, settlement amount and the actual amount you have received.

Any difference between the settlement amount and the actual amount received in your account is generally caused by the service fee charged by intermediary bank or beneficiary bank.

Can I designate an intermediate bank?

Yes. But we do not guarantee that the settlement process flow go through the intermediate bank you designate. It depends on whether the remitting bank and designated intermediate bank have set up related international payment agreement .

Who is responsible for the service fees charged by the banks?

WeChat Pay supports SHA (the service fees are shared between two parties). WeChat Pay is responsible for the service fee charged by the remitting bank, but any other possible service fees charged by the overseas intermediate bank or beneficiary bank (the bank where the your account is opened) are borne by you.

You can query the beneficiary bank.The bank policies vary between different countries/regions.
